The Process

There’s history here. This video is totally amateur, It was probably a year after Joshua stayed with us and wrote the book.

Our first promo video from February, 2016! This was for a kick-starter campaign which was not successful. Notice the cover-art, this was shot LONG before Pam agreed to take on the project!

This one is much easier to watch, created by my friend Michael Escobar:

Michael and I shot this in one day. He caught the vision and produced this quick and cheap! If you have a destination wedding or a special occasion that you want photographed, click here to visit his website.

The reason I didn’t go with Barefoot Press for the first version of the book, was because of the cost and the promotion. The idea is to have this book pay for itself, and then pay for the PREMIUM version described in the video. For that, I fully intend to go back to Barefoot Press, as they were AWESOME, and I want to give them my business because they are a really classy shop that will do beautiful work.

Finally, I ended up choosing Christian Faith Publishing because of their values, their process, and the agreement and overall value of the package that they provide. I am not easy to work with, but Allie at CFP was patient, persistent, and professional, and for that I give her 3 P’s!
